OC Beer Events Not To Miss

The only thing the OC Craft Beer brewers love more than making exceptional beer is sharing it with others. On that note here are 5 awesome OC beer events that you should not miss.

The Orange County Beer & Music Festival is held in March and was created to support the RettSyndrome.org charity to provide support for families affected by the disease and fund research. This walking event is held at the Yost Theater and boasts unlimited craft beer samples while showcasing local and national breweries, food trucks and local bands and DJ’s.

The OC Beer Festival is held annually in May and regularly sells out. This event is located at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim and features dozens of local and national breweries, food trucks and live music. The OC Beer Festival is a charity event benefitting Noah’s B-Ark, an organization that rescues and cares for at-risk shelter animals while finding them a forever home.

The OC Brew Hee Haw is held in Costa Mesa every July. This event features more than 60 craft beers from national and local breweries. Beer lovers can enjoy countless beer styles and a special showcasing of OC Beer’s finest brews, brew pubs and great live music. Ticket prices even include admission to the OC Fair.

The Orange County Brew Ha Ha is held every September at Oak Canyon Park and is one of the biggest and most celebrated OC beer festivals of Southern California. This event partners with the local Fire Fighters Union and raises funds to support the Fallen Fire Fighters Relief Fund. This charity cares for families that have lost a fire fighter. This event features over 40 breweries, 20 plus delicious food vendors and live music. And as a bonus, beer is served by off-duty fire fighters.

Another unique OC craft beer event is the Orange County Brew Ho Ho in December. The Brew Ho Ho is held at Anaheim’s Phoenix club. The Brew Ho Ho offers world class beers, delicious foods and a holiday boutique. The Ho Ho features unique Seasonal, Holiday and Winter Ales as well as a Brewery EXPO and merchandise sales.

So no matter the season, the OC beer community has an awesome and philanthropic event for your beer-drinking pleasure.
