Scenes from a (Really) Grand Opening
At noon on Feb. 9, the Valiant Brewing Company officially opened to the public.
It’s true: the Valiant Brewing Company opened to the public on Feb. 9. It was nine hours of nonstop beer-pouring for Valiant–and we were thrilled to be exhausted by the end of the day!
In case you weren’t able to make it for our Grand Opening (hey–where the heck were you??), here are some pix of what you missed.
And we’ll expect to see you on Feb. 16, when our doors open at noon.
We were totally prepared: three beers on tap (plus a special surprise taster that will be on tap in the near future), two sizes of growlers, Valiant pint glasses and snifters, and even Valiant shirts.
We threw the biggest party of our lives–and everyone came!
There was a line for much of the day–tasters, snifters, pint glasses, and growlers. It was a totally if-you-build-it-they-will-come experience.
It was awesome to see so many people snapping photos of our beer with their iPhones and very serious cameras. I mean, we think our beer is beautiful–but is gratifying to know other people agree!
See that satisfaction on Brian’s face? That pretty much says it all. It was an amazing way to launch our brewery–and we can’t wait for what comes next!
